Female pelvic health-focused medtech firm Axena Health has appointed a new CEO.

Randy Pritchard brings nearly 25 years of experience in medical device and health technology, most recently served as CEO of Pillar Biosciences, a sequencing diagnostics company supporting cancer patients, where he led daily operations. He has also held senior roles at Roche Diagnostics, including senior vice president of marketing.

Axena’s Leva pelvic health system is a non-invasive, medication-free solution for treating urinary incontinence (UI) and decal incontinence (FI).

Shacey Petrovic, board member at Axena Health, added: “Randy has a strong history of leading innovative companies and delivering meaningful healthcare solutions. His proven ability to execute growth strategies and build a mission-driven culture aligns perfectly with Axena Health’s vision of changing the standard of care for female pelvic floor disorders.

Pritchard will focus on refining the company’s strategic direction, improving insurance coverage for the Leva.

The system is intended for strengthening of pelvic floor muscles, rehabilitation and training of weak pelvic floor muscles.
