Women’s Health Week and Opella launch innovation challenge

Women’s Health Week has partnered with global self-care leader Opella to launch the Opella Innovation Challenge—a private, one-day pitch event designed to uncover the next generation of science-backed consumer innovations.
Taking place during Women’s Health Week Europe 2025 in London, the Challenge offers selected founders 30 minutes of private access to Opella’s global leadership team—receiving direct feedback and exploring opportunities for partnership, co-development, and scale with one of the most influential names in global consumer health.
Opella, a certified B Corp and the company behind trusted brands like Allegra, Buscopan, Dulcolax, Magne B6, Ostelin, and Qunol, is deepening its commitment to women’s health.
Through this challenge, it is scouting bold, consumer-first solutions that address key hormonal health needs across every life stage—from puberty to menopause and beyond.
Selected innovators will receive:
- A 30-minute private pitch & discussion with Opella’s global leadership
- Direct feedback from senior decision-makers
- Exploration of strategic, co-development and/or partnership opportunities
Evangelia Koutsoliakos, Global Strategy Head Women’s Health Platform, and Margaret Gryszkiewicz, Global R&D Head Women’s Health Platform at Opella, said: “We’re excited to meet the next generation of innovators reimagining women’s health.
“At Opella, we’re not just looking for ideas—we’re looking for partners who can scale with us and help deliver meaningful impact to millions of women around the world.”
The Opella Innovation Challenge takes place on October 14, 2025, in London as a featured corporate accelerator within Women’s Health Week Europe—the industry’s landmark gathering of innovators, investors, and multinationals driving change in women’s health.
