The US health equity platform Violet has announced partnerships with 25 health organisations to generate better outcomes and build health equity.
The new partnerships cover digital health organisations and hospitals, including Thirty Madison, Headway, Octave, Galileo, TimelyMD, Arise, Parsley Health, Eden Health, Ontrak and Nox Health.
Violet says the partnering companies will continue to onboard additional clinicians, care coaches, and other providers onto its education platform to better care for millions of diverse patients.
“Violet’s portfolio of customers is diverse, representing many segments of the health care industry. What do they all have in common? These organisations choose Violet to improve their providers’ inclusive care delivery, and that is invaluable,” said Gaurang Choksi, Violet’s founder and CEO.
“We’re proud to support these leading health care organisations on their mission to offer better care for diverse patients.”
The move will help Violet to onboard thousands of clinicians to credential and upskill cultural competence for improved care of BIPOC, LGBQ, and TGNC patients, the founder added.
Neil Parikh, chief medical officer at Thirty Madison, said: “Thirty Madison is committed to transforming specialty care across all of our brands, and there is no other platform like Violet to help us deliver culturally competent care for patients.
“Healthcare transformation should be inclusive, focusing on the needs of individual patients to improve outcomes—a core value we share with Violet.”
Data suggests that by 2045, over half of Americans will be diverse in race, sexual orientation, gender identity and more. However, racial disparities alone have led to three and a half million life years lost in 2020 alone.
Violet’s team, a group of queer, BIPOC and disabled individuals, aim to improve health outcomes and save almost US$100bn in excess care spend.
In August, the New York-based provider raised US$4.1m in seed funding to expand its reach, build inclusivity training and power more care coordination.
