Maternity health innovation to be celebrated at Femtech World Awards

Femtech World is looking to recognise groundbreaking innovations that have significantly advanced the field of maternity care.

The Femtech World Awards, delivered in partnership with headline sponsor Planned Parenthood, celebrate the best examples of leadership, innovation and impact in key areas that affect women’s health and wellbeing.

The Maternity Health Innovation Award, sponsored by TeleScan, recognises a product, service or technology that has improved maternal health outcomes, enhanced the pregnancy and childbirth experience, or provided critical support to mothers and babies.

TeleScan is on a mission to improve health outcomes through innovative ultrasound technology.

Too many patients will never see a bedside sonographer during their pregnancy, so TeleScan increases access through a telesonography® solution.

Their software connects providers and their patients with remote perinatal sonographers.

By offering high-quality diagnostics, TeleScan can identify high-risk pregnancies, intervene early, and improve maternal outcomes.

Blanca Lesmes, CEO of TeleScan, said: “After learning more about FemTech World and even winning our category last year, award sponsorship was a high priority for us.

“It’s ingrained in our culture to elevate others, and we wanted the opportunity to shine a light on other innovators in our industry, elevate their services and products on the world stage, and celebrate our collaborative effort to improve healthcare for women everywhere.”

There are 10 awards up for grabs, with winners receiving a physical award and the opportunity to be interviewed for Femtech World.

Winners and shortlisted entries will receive extensive coverage across all Femtech World platforms.
