Femtech World Awards to honour life-changing fertility innovations

The innovations transforming reproductive medicine and giving hope to millions of prospective parents across the globe are being recognised in the Femtech World Awards.

The inaugural awards are looking for the teams and organisations creating innovative solutions to reshape fertility treatment and improve access to care.

Infertility is a global health issue affecting millions of people of reproductive age worldwide. About 17.5 per cent of the global adult population – roughly one in six – will experience infertility at some point in their lifetime, according to the World Health Organization, showing the urgent need to increase access to affordable, high-quality fertility care for those in need.

Through the Fertility Innovation Award, sponsored by Apryl, the Femtech World Awards aim to shine a light on the life-changing work of those developing next-generation innovations that could not only increase success rates but revolutionise the world of reproductive health as we know it.

Apryl is a fertility benefits platform that helps employers attract and retain top talent while tackling diversity and inclusion. The company helps employers support their employees with fertility and family planning benefits, including consultation, access to clinics, treatments and adoption.

Jenny Saft, co-founder and CEO, said: “Being a part of the Femtech World Awards is a great opportunity to stand at the forefront of innovation and progress. It’s here that we witness the transformative power of technology in reshaping women’s health, a cause close to my heart.

“The awards represent a milestone in recognising the advancements in women’s health technology. We’re thrilled to be involved in celebrating the ingenuity and dedication of those who are breaking barriers and creating solutions in an area once overlooked.

“This event is a testament to the potential of technology in empowering women’s health and wellbeing worldwide.”

Femtech World editor, Sorina Mihaila, added: “The science surrounding research on embryos means that new, innovative technologies appear on our radar every day.

“We are looking forward to showcasing the emerging stars in the fertility space at our first Femtech World Awards.”
