The tracking app Lorestry has been named the N0 1 pregnancy and baby app for 2022.
The app is the only pregnancy and baby tracker that maps parent-generated data related to the social and environmental drivers of health.
These conditions impact as much as 80 per cent of a health outcome, making them critical factors for the optimal well-being of mother and baby.
The app aims to help parents easily communicate this information to their care teams for referrals and intervention.
“By mapping data to SNOMED International, a health language library recognised by the National Library of Medicine and over 80 nations, we start to level the playing field for self-advocacy and personal empowerment with health information, starting before birth,” said Lorestry designer and founder, Linda Craib.
The tracker, developed by Alea Diagnostics, creates lists and reports as well as data visualisations designed to improve health data understanding and literacy.
It was named the leading pregnancy app for 20022 by One Fine Baby, Australia’s online baby retailer and maternal information hub.

Lorestry‘s early adopters and collaborators include Children’s Mercy Kansas City where the app has been made available to all children and families, as well as the National Head Start Association.
Alea Diagnostics, a Massachusetts-based healthcare company, aims to improve the lives of newborns and children by working with organisations and employers.
Previously, Lorestry has launched a campaign, called Little Emotions, to raise awareness of the critical importance of early child development tracking, with developers saying that the tracker can securely monitor child development and share their observations across their care and early education teams.
